I just found out that my review for the Hayate the Combat Butler was removed. I
take it that the conversational format for reviewing was the reason why. So, I
plan to resubmit it, but this time I will use the same format I did for the
other four on my page.
Do get back to me if you can, and keep up the good work, you and the crew.
Cheers.
Hey shin! Thanks for reposting your forum guidelines! I was wondering where they
went and was at a loss where to cut and paste from when closing threads! Hope
that things are going well on your end!
Quote by shoujoboyGood points and
certainly noted. I would also like to add I saw your comment on my Code Geass
review and I feel quite pwned. Based on your comments I feel like I would be
just as easily entertained by a cup and ball...
LOL. . . I didn't mean it that way at all! Code Geass is a well-made series, and
it has to have gotten something right to
have gotten so many accolades. For whatever reason, it simply didn't tickle my
fancy (I must have fulfilled my quota of mecha anime already). That said, your
review was excellent, as always. I just felt that I needed to put down my own
two cents somewhere after finally watching episodes 24 and 25, and given that I
did not feel up to writing a full review, I decided to leave some remarks on a
review that not only was already written, but one that is much more thorough
than anything I might have been able to toss
together.
I figured as much. Maybe I was just thrown aback by a comment of that calibur as
opposed to the usual dribble that graces that comments section. But when I see a
comment like that I almost think to myself "wow what did I see and what
didn't he see"? That type of thing. Admitedly I'm still laughing a bit now
while I play with my cup... can't find the ball though.
Quote by shinsengumiI have to say
that you have a very quirky -- and therefore amusing -- method of reviewing
series. If nothing else, it makes your reviews enjoyable to read.
Quote: In conclusion for this
section, I believe that that averages out to 9.5. All of you who have read any
of my past reviews know I like to give the benefit of the doubt and round up
when it's above a .5 decimal. Victory music, if you please. After this, it
receives a 10.
Giving a series the benefit of the doubt is
all well and good, but given that a score of 10 is supposed to indicate an
effort that represents the pinnacle of human achievement, I don't really think
rounding up to a perfect score is appropriate, but that's just my two
cents.
Quote by shinsengumiHallo! Just a
friendly reminder, however. . .

Hallo there! Thank you for telling me that, I think I couldn't read well that
part (I have to reinforce my English... )
So can I use dutch in my private messages, and the moderator can not read those
messages? It's only a question I have, I don't know for I haven't read that on
Minitokyo's policy.
I sure do...because of your smile. I`m looking at an old message of mine that I
have write in on your guestbook some time ago o.O and can`t understand too much
things have changed a little for me as well.. irrelevant : I adopted a new look
lately I see that the new generations of member are quite young and most of them
are craving for attention (MT like a playground I am just kidding)
personally I don`t have anything against this kind of behavior but I just noticed a message of yours that is a little harsh
I always " liked you" for your honest opinions so
yah each have our own personality
^_^' I`ved bored you enough just wanted to brighten up a little your page with
my new reddish avatar and signature picture
one thins that you will decide to visit my page from curiosity I guess o.O ...
don`t be scared by the song
it is one of my favorites http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xVbVzie7uYA

Thanks for your message in my GB, and I believe you're right about first-hand
news being more insightful than paper news. That's why I like your blog .
By the way, since you are a french-speaker (maybe not fluent, but still), if
you're interested in a satyrical newspaper, I'll redirect you here http://www.lecanardenchaine.fr/ .
That's my favorite paper, if you feel interested, I think you can actually buy
it overseas (here, the wiki link as well : http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Le_Canard_Encha%C3%AEn%C3%A9
).
Quote by shinsengumiAyumi-Fan was
indeed one of the groups created by Celessa, and she asked me if I would assist
her in running it. I left it ages ago, however; I've been administrator of some
two dozen groups at various points during my time on Minitokyo, mostly to help
out with initial coding and planning back in the first few months after
Minitokyo v3 was released.
If you're waiting for Celessa to return sometime, I would advise you not to hold
your breath. Both of us have left Minitokyo; I stop by from time to time just to
check messages, but the time when the community was vibrant enough to pique our
interests and spark our dedication is long gone.
Good luck, and have fun!
Oh....I see....thanks very much~
It's actually so sad to see her left MiniTokyo. I am myself unsure if I would be
leaving too as I'm an active member all along. It's now hard to imagine what
would I be doing if not in MiniTokyo. (example: Will I still be here once I'm
married?)
By the way, if you don't mind, may I ask: What are the privileges of a Retired
Moderator?
hi shinsengumi were
you once a staff in this http://ayumi-fan.minitokyo.net/ ? now
that i'm appointed as administrator there by request to revive that group, may i
know where is the founder celessa already? she looks inactive for quite a long
while......
Thanks a bunch for the note on my blog; I certainly hope that I'll get one of
the jobs I'm applying for in DC, so if all goes as planned, who knows, I might
have to take you up on your offer. Anyhow, take care, hope all is well!
shinsengumi ^_^
Yupp... I can show you where the Asian supermarkets are It's
hard moving to a new city and it always helps to have people you (sort of) know
around... haha. So yeah keep me posted if you end up moving here and need help
with anything :3
Oh sweet! Congrats! I just tried IM but I'm never sure if my trillian's letting
my MSN messages through When
will you be starting/looking to move down?
woaa shinsengumi smileing..XD ta ta u make a cute face there yah
just a randoms msg from me
noticed ur new photo on someones page ^___^` and decided to come and look
around
If I`m not mistaking we have chat in the past only twice..and then was like me
asking u some things
well see u around and take care uhh
the other day I feelt so bad..damn cold
Bet you weren't expecting me to appear and leave a post in your guestbook
^_^
As can be expected, things have been pretty hectic with me, and as a result I've
almost completely forsaken MT (and in fact, it's hard to believe that I once
spent so much time each day on MT doing the whole moderator dance). Hope all is
well both IRL (you're in university now, aren't you?) and here as well, with
your own moderating, the UA group, and your top-notch wallpapering (I sincerely
hope you haven't dropped that entirely). Anyhow, take care, and keep up the good
work!
Squee! It's shinsengumi <3
I'm very happy to hear from you ^_^ It was indeed unexpected
I hope that life is all well for you and a happy belated (but late :P) happy new
year
Yep, I'm in 2nd year University already... *chuckles* time flies :3
Thanks so much for all your kind words I'll
try my best in all those you mentioned and juggle my time around (and I still wall every now and then once in a rare blue moon )
Hope that all's well for you ^^
Heh heh... Sorry for spamming your notifications! I bet that between Marissa
& I you stand no chance
If only real life didn't stand between me & making more scans. I have so
much to scan. To wet your taste buds, I've got some Bleach, Range Murata, Ugestu
Hakua, Yubinbasya (I love the art, but for some reason it just takes forever to
scan that book), Future Studio St Seiya stuff, various Saiyuki & Bus Gamer
stuff, not to mention tones of little bits & pieces I keep finding like
Okama & CLAMP...
Dropping by to wish you a merry Christmas, hope you have some fun with the geeks
(lol), and get a lot of love from everyone.
I'm still a steady reader of your blog, so i'll wish you a nice new start in
life, and hoping you'll manage everything from now on (though i think managing
this far means there's nothing to fear ahead !).
Take care, and enjoy your last Christmas as a student

Hi! Can I noe why my sig was removed? I can't tell which part in Signatures and Signature Images it violated, size seems okay and all that...
