it's so... cute ^^ and I love Neo Venezia, since I've been to Venice, and it's
such a pretty city. though it's kinda weird that they have all this advanced
technology, yet they heat their homes with traditional wood fireplaces
In case you haven't heard, a third season of Aria just
got announced! I too love the seemingly-contradictory combination of high
technology and quaint lifestyle in Neo Venezia, but it's all part of the charm
of the series. Aria isn't the most interesting anime or one of the best-made,
but I've always found that it's lovely to sit down to an episode at the end of a
long day, so it's great to know that there are others out there who also
appreciate it ^_^

Quote by shoujoboyGood points and
certainly noted. I would also like to add I saw your comment on my Code Geass
review and I feel quite pwned. Based on your comments I feel like I would be
just as easily entertained by a cup and ball...
LOL. . . I didn't mean it that way at all! Code Geass is a well-made series, and
it has to have gotten something right to
have gotten so many accolades. For whatever reason, it simply didn't tickle my
fancy (I must have fulfilled my quota of mecha anime already). That said, your
review was excellent, as always. I just felt that I needed to put down my own
two cents somewhere after finally watching episodes 24 and 25, and given that I
did not feel up to writing a full review, I decided to leave some remarks on a
review that not only was already written, but one that is much more thorough
than anything I might have been able to toss together.
Quote by MaandDeernHallo there! Thank
you for telling me that, I think I couldn't read well that part (I have to
reinforce my English... )
So can I use dutch in my private messages, and the moderator can not read those
messages? It's only a question I have, I don't know for I haven't read that on
Minitokyo's policy.
That's right; you can use Dutch in your
private messages and when writing in guestbooks, but when participating in the
forums or commenting on gallery submissions and reviews, you have to use
English.
I'd like to invite you to this group
If you love the SWEET SIDE of ANIME, this is your right place!
Hope to see u there *waves*

Chiaki-chan, copying and pasting this (and slight variations of it) on dozens of
guestbooks -- including my own -- can be construed as spamming under the terms
of the revised Minitokyo
Policy and may therefore be subject to official sanction. Whether or not you
have acted in violation of the policy is something for the current moderator
staff, of which I am not a party, to determine, but as one who has been
inflicted by your unwanted and unwarranted solicitation and as one with intimate
knowledge of the policies and guidelines of this community, I would ask that you
cease such activity entirely or at the very least not repeat such an action on
my guestbook in the future.
Hey! So good to hear from you again too! Yeah, chara-nee is long gone, and I've
stepped down to let others more dedicated than I run the community. Hope all is
well ^_^
kagomegirl0506, you've created quite a number of threads in quite a short amount
of time, but none of these threads have really generated much discussion, and
quite a number of them are duplicates. I ask that you not create new threads on
a whim, but put time and thought into creating threads to generate discussion or
-- better yet -- participate in other threads.
I knew that I could count on a quick response from you after making my little
note about the first-round election results. All of the conclusions I come up
with regarding European politics comes from what I read in the news, but what
one can read from the papers obviously cannot match what one can see firsthand,
and so I have to thank you for helping me to better understand the
situation!
Anyhow, I hope that all is well and that you are enjoying your studies. Take
care, and catch you around ^_^

Ayumi-Fan was indeed one of the groups created
by Celessa, and she asked me if I would assist her in running it. I left it ages
ago, however; I've been administrator of some two dozen groups at various points
during my time on Minitokyo, mostly to help out with initial coding and planning
back in the first few months after Minitokyo v3 was released.
If you're waiting for Celessa to return sometime, I would advise you not to hold
your breath. Both of us have left Minitokyo; I stop by from time to time just to
check messages, but the time when the community was vibrant enough to pique our
interests and spark our dedication is long gone.

Hello hello! You're right, we never really talked much in
the past, but yours is one of the usernames that I do still remember (in a good
way) from back when I was still a regular around these parts.
I'm honestly surprised that my photo would be sitting on someone else's profile
page (which I assume means that someone added me to their hotlist). In a way I'm
both a bit flattered and a bit wary at the news, but I guess that is how the
hotlist is supposed to work.
Anyhow, I doubt that I'll be more active here than I am currently (which
essentially amounts to popping on once a week or so to check messages), but I'll
still be around. So, take care, and see you around!
Heyo! I bet that I was the last person you were expecting to leave you a
greeting in your guestbook ^_^
I've not been on MT much at all in the past year, but I have been checking in
every few weeks, and every time I do pop in my notification counter goes insane,
because it seems as if between each of my visits you've posted reams upon reams
of wonderful new scans. Keep it up; I'm glad that there are still people who go
out of their way to contribute quality work and who are still actively working
to keep the community going.
Hope all is well! Will be in the DC metro area Mon/Tues for an interview, so let
me know if you have some time for coffee or the like in the midst of your busy
college life ^_^
Bet you weren't expecting me to appear and leave a post in your guestbook
^_^
As can be expected, things have been pretty hectic with me, and as a result I've
almost completely forsaken MT (and in fact, it's hard to believe that I once
spent so much time each day on MT doing the whole moderator dance). Hope all is
well both IRL (you're in university now, aren't you?) and here as well, with
your own moderating, the UA group, and your top-notch wallpapering (I sincerely
hope you haven't dropped that entirely). Anyhow, take care, and keep up the good
work!
Mike, it's been ages since we last had a good chat (though I admit that my
general absence from all things Minitokyo is somewhat to blame). Still, it seems
as if you've dropped off the face of the earth yourself. Regardless, I hope that
you're well wherever you are and that whatever you're doing is also going well.
Take care, and hope to chat with you again sometime!
Quote by LordStyphonI'm in your

LordStyphon,
It's been quite a while! I must admit that I don't frequent Minitokyo anymore; I
stop by every couple of weeks to clear out notifications, but that's just about
it. I'm glad that I decided to peek in today though, as it's always great to
hear from old online buddies.
Thank you for your season's greetings! Best of luck to you as well in all of
your endeavors in this new year!
Dropping by to wish you a merry Christmas, hope you have some fun with the geeks
(lol), and get a lot of love from everyone.
I'm still a steady reader of your blog, so i'll wish you a nice new start in
life, and hoping you'll manage everything from now on (though i think managing
this far means there's nothing to fear ahead !).
Take care, and enjoy your last Christmas as a student
anj
Anj,
Thanks so much for your holiday wishes; best of luck to you in the coming year,
and hope your studies are going along well ^_^
Tama, I just wanted to let you know that your deluge of Mushishi walls worked; your excellent work piqued my interest in
the series, and after watching a couple episodes I was hooked. You're right; it
does have a Kino no Tabi feel to it, and
though I would be hard-pressed to explain why, I do really like it.
Quote by flyindreamsThanks for the

My pleasure! If I haven't told you before, I'm a
ridiculous fan of your works. The only reason I still stop by Minitokyo from
time to time is to see whether you (and perhaps one or two other wallers of
note) have submitted new things to toss onto my wallpaper rotation.
Hehe, I just now noticed that someone seems to have dumped a bucket of gold
paint on your username. Congrats. . . you deserved it!
Also, I absolutely love your userpage. It's been a long, long while since I last
saw something both so creative and so nicely done (I really like your little
parenthetical comments for the various navication links, for example). And, of
course, m-flo rocks ^_^

To be honest, you are one of the forumgoers I had in
mind when I was searching for words to use in describing the average forumgoer.
In my personal opinion, it would be better for the forum as a whole if you did
not try to give more of your educated responses, because for the most part your
"educated responses" (while they may be earnest attempts on your part)
are either entirely wrong or entirely worthless.
Here is a recent case in point:
Quote by Shinsengumi89Well as long
as we have a conservative adminastration in power, the Israelis will always get
backed by the US and the Peace talks will always fail.
I
don't know where to begin. In such a short post, you are already so wrong on so
many counts. To name a few, Democratic administrations have been at least as
supportive as Republican administrations of Israel. After all, the Jewish
community plays a significant role in domestic politics, and there are many
influential Jews in government and society who are Democrats, Senator Lieberman
being just one of them.
Furthermore, historically the United States has been one of the brokers of the
peace. If it were not for the United States, the situation in the Middle East
would be far worse. On one hand, it backs the right of Israel to defend itself,
but it also keeps Israel on a leash to prevent it from destabilizing the region.
On the other hand, it works to cut off logistical support for terrorist
organizations and to place diplomatic pressure against countries that sponsor
them.
I could go on and on, but I have to get ready for work, and so I'll leave you
with one final thought to consider.
Oftentimes, ignorant people think that they are much more intelligent than they
realy are. Professor Dunning from Corenll University made a landmark study in
1999 that showed that incompetent people have an inflated sense of their own
ability, because competence is itself a requirement to recognize competence.
Good day.

First, I would like to thank you for your extremely level-headed response to the
pointed remarks I left in your guestbook a little over a day ago. While those
remarks do reflect my true sentiments, they were certainly untoward and unfair
to you, and therefore I have to commend you for being so responsible in handling
the issue. In that respect, you are certainly a better person than I
am.
I have not been particularly civil to you since you joined this community, and
you noted the reason why in the postscript of your message to me. To be honest,
there are many others who I find more aggravating, but the unfortunate
similarity between our usernames has always made your comments stand out
whenever I browse through the forums. This does not excuse my discourtesy, but I
just wanted to let you know why it seems as if I have been (somewhat unfairly)
singling you out.
In retrospect, I should not have let my emotions override my reason, but as I
generally do not believe in depublishing, I will not pretend that I did not
suffer a lapse in judgement and will therefore allow my petulance to stand side
by side with this explanation and apology.
When I was a moderator, I often reprimanded established members who were guilty
of elitist snobbery towards newer members. Now I find myself guilty of the same
fault, and as such I will take care to conduct myself with greater civility and
exercise greater tolerance towards you and other members in the future.
